A large drug trafficking criminal network was shut-down after 3 years international operation launched and led by Montenegro in 2017, with support from Europol and Law Enforcement from Austria, Croatia, France, Portugal, Serbia and Slovenia.

The cartel was trafficking drugs, particularly cocaine, from origin countries to Europe, disrupting one of the routes from Central America to Europe.
